Now I’m just waiting for the Internet uproar when they restore 996s, complete with eggs.

986 prices are about to balloon, as soon as someone creates Millenial-wood. Just you watch.

Oh I think boxster prices are about as low as they’ll ever be.

Yeah, but the 986 is a step below the 996 as it is?

Which is why I have this feeling they will do the 996s next.

Surprised they need restoring, my 987 looks terrific.

Oh, I’m sure you’re right - hell, one of the beefs about the 996 is that it shares a lot of parts (including those lovely fried eggs) with the 986.
I’m just thinking that people should be in more of an uproar over the 986 than the 996. But, they really shouldn’t be worked up at all - the 996 has bottomed out, I think. And the value of some of the higher end models has headed north - like the Turbos.

Shame, my ‘07 Cayman looks great with 70k on the clock. I guess as these things get cheap owners who paid $8k or something just thrash the shit out of them.

In a nutshell, yes.

I don’t know how much work might need to go into a $6,000 B oxster, but there’s no denying they look pretty tempting at that price.
